According to reports, Humble native, defensive end Anthony Williams (6-2, 296 lbs.) had a private workout with the Houston Texans. Williams went to high school at Atascocita and graduated from Fresno State where he played for the Bulldogs since 2008. During his time at Fresno State, Williams was slowed by injuries, and missed half of his senior season.
In 2012, Williams appeared in 6 games before suffering a foot injury that ended his season. He posted 13 total tackles, 3 TFLs and 1/2 sack for the Bulldogs.
Williams is to be reported to have benched pressed 225 lbs.- 44 times which caught the scouts attention.
